Basic vs. Premium Install Package: Which Vapor Trapper Kit Is Right for You?

Once you decide to get rid of the gas smell, the next question is which kit to buy. Vapor Trapper offers two complete packages: the Basic Install Package and the Premium Install Package. Here is how to think about the choice.

Both packages start with the same core

Every Vapor Trapper install package is built around our patented billet aluminum charcoal vapor canister. No matter which package you choose, you get:

• A 6061 billet aluminum canister made and assembled in Arizona

• A universal design that works with practically any inlet and outlet configuration

• Rechargeable charcoal, typically good for 5 to 7 years before it needs a refresh

• Our lifetime warranty

The Basic Install Package

The Basic package is a great fit for builders who already have a plan for mounting and plumbing. If you are comfortable sourcing a few of your own fittings or you already have a clean spot picked out on your vent line, the Basic package gives you what you need to get the job done.

The Premium Install Package

The Premium package is our best seller for a reason. It is designed to make the install as complete and straightforward as possible, with more of the pieces you need included in the box. If you want an all-in-one solution or you are installing for a customer, Premium is usually the easier path.

How to choose

Ask yourself a few questions:

• Do you want everything in one box, or do you prefer to source some parts yourself?

• How much room do you have around your vent line?

• Is this going on a show car where every detail matters?

If you are short on space, consider the Low-Profile Vapor Trapper. And for no-drill vent line mounting, add the Zip Kit magnetic mounts.
