Low-Profile Vapor Trapper: Vapor Control for Tight Spaces

2 min read

Not every build has room for a full-size canister. Lowered cars, tubbed hot rods, tight engine bays and cramped trunk setups all leave very little space to work with. That is why we built the Low-Profile Vapor Trapper.

What makes it different

The Low-Profile Vapor Trapper does the same job as our original canister. It captures fuel vapor from your tank vent before it can escape into your garage or cabin. The difference is the shape. Its slimmer design is made to tuck into places a standard canister will not fit.

Like every Vapor Trapper, it is:

  • Machined from 6061 billet aluminum

  • Made and assembled in Arizona

  • Patented and universally designed to work with practically any inlet and outlet configuration

  • Rechargeable, so you refresh the charcoal instead of replacing the unit

  • Covered by a lifetime warranty

Who it's for

The Low-Profile is a strong choice if you are working with:

  • Lowered or bagged cars with minimal ground clearance

  • Compact engine bays where every inch is spoken for

  • Trunk-mounted fuel cells and custom tanks

  • Builds where you want the canister to stay discreet

If you have a little more room, the standard Vapor Trapper and our install packages are still a great fit. The right choice comes down to where your vent line runs and how much space you have around it.

Want it to stand out instead?

Some builders want their vapor canister to be part of the show. Our Limited Edition White Low-Profile pairs the compact footprint with a clean white finish that pops in a detailed engine bay.

Installation basics

Vapor Trapper installs in line with your fuel tank vent hose. Pick a mounting spot near the vent line, secure the canister, and route the vent hose through it. For no-drill mounting on vent lines, our Zip Kit magnetic mounts make the job even easier.

Find your fit

Not sure whether the Low-Profile or standard unit is the right call? Check the installation page on our site or call our team and tell us about your build.
